The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

WELL LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN. MEEEEE! HAPPY 1ST OF OCTOBER. HALLOWEEN MONTH IS UPON US. HOW ARE ALL OF YOU GUYS?!

Sorry for not being alive for the last two months, moving and school and work have consumed my life! But I've been working on stuff still, and hopefully I'll put some of that up soon when I'm not studying for my mid-terms. Actually that should be soon as i only have one midterm and it's on Greek mythology, don't even have the textbook and yet I seem to know more than the rest of my tutorial class.

ANYWHO! I'm not listening in class right now because it's dumb, and i bought a sub because i can't stand the ads anymore on this baby screen.

First person to comment gets a free sketch (or picture depending on how much time i have to work on it/finish it), except for these people:

No Gaga. Or anything really because pictures for you take 1000 years.
